Find something and burn it
Mean as hell - That's
what I'm talkin' about! It
took a few attempts but
the end result is exactly
the way I envisioned it.
Above and right, the bull
bar has been fabricated
from 0.2" square steel
and mounted to the
frame ears with 3/8" plate
as well as 4 additional
body mounts. Yup. That
should do.
The light bar was made
from a length of 4" x 1/4"
thick aluminum angle
stock. The brackets were
hand cut, and the "rivets"
are actually 1/4-20
stainless steel carriage
bolts. I really like the
overall look of this piece.
Ironically, the design was
meant to hide a previous
mistake made to the bull
bar.
Windshield armour. A removable 1/4" Perspex shield covers the new windshield glass.
Sadly, this became necessary because the neighbourhood welfare baby factories believe
that little Ritalin Johnny throwing bricks at other people's property - something that has
happened no less than 6 times now - is totally acceptable behaviour. Where are those
halfway houses for released child predators when you really need them?.
The beast at the end of the weekend - June 2 (Happy Birthday Joan) 2007.

Armoured and dangerous
Spring 2008. The rear bumper and corner guards being tested for fitment before final paint. I'm
not entirely sure that i like this piece yet, but I'm hoping it'll grow on me once it's painted black.
