Welcome to the secret laboratory
site of "Howlin' Mad" Jim Tyson.
That's me over there, by day a
mild mannered, anti-social
electronics ubergeek. But when
the sun sets my freakish alter ego
emerges and the debauchery
begins. Hidden within the
confines of a nondescript vinyl
clad East Hamilton home, the
well defined and structured
worlds of science and electronics
dangerously collide with the
alcohol fuelled insanity of a fat
hillbilly wearing superhero tights.

"Stranded in time.  Surrounded by evil.  Low on gas..."
This attempt at a web site was originally inspired by my friends at the
Dutchforce Electronics Forum where I post under the pseudonym
"Jim the
copier wrench"
to document my various twisted robotic, electronic, and
automotive projects including the new Bat-truck: A totally demented long term
project where I convert another former postal delivery truck into a freakish four
ton autonomous robot that will be capable of finding it's own way home when
I'm really loaded.

Eventually I hope to host all of my projects, future ideas, technical writing, and
general insanity here. Contact me if you are experiencing any problems with
the site, have any comments, ideas, or just feel like saying "Hi".

weapons of mass destruction are fashioned from old copier parts.

It was a dark and rainy night. The piercing screams of high voltage discharge break the eerie
silence between claps of thunder. Molten solder flows like blood at the sharp steel edge of a 30
Watt soldering iron. The thick chemical smell of overheated semiconductor fills the air.
Electronic equipment is sacrificed in horrible ways here, giving up components for the evil
projects of a truly mad scientist.
